Here at Load Trail, we recently released a new trailer into the market. It is the new Tilt-N-Go (TH10/TH14)! We are very excited about the possibilities of this trailer. The Tilt-N-Go is a versatile work tool for a multitude of jobs. This brawny trailer comes in lengths of 18′ to 24′. The G.V.W.R rating can be set at 9,900 pounds or 14,000 pounds depending on the axles that are chosen. This trailer comes standard with a 2-5/16″ adjustable 6 hole channel coupler. It outdoes our competition with an impressive 8″ I-beam tongue and frame. The Load Trail Tilt-N-Go also has a reinforced top frame plate to add to the structural durability of the trailer. The beauty of this trailer is that the fenders tilt with the deck. Did I mention that it is a full 83″ wide between the fenders for loading super wide cargo. That’s right, 83″. In an industry where inches count, one more inch could mean all the difference. Our trailer comes with a 10k spring return drop leg jack. It is a gravity style tilt with a hydraulic cushioning cylinder. This will control the decent of your loaded trailer making it smooth and soft. The TH trailer can be equipped with two 5,200 pound or two 7,000 pound Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Torsion Axles. Other than the 83″ between the fender, what sets our trailer apart from other trailers is the 22″ deck height accompanied with a 10 degree loading angle. The Tilt-N-Go is equipped with a knife edged tail for that hard to load equipment. This will allow you to load extremely low equipment much easier. This trailer will come with 15″or 16″ wheels and radial tires based on the axles that are chosen for your trailer. It also comes standard with a flush mount LED lighting system. The flooring is a pressure treated yellow pine. One option that we recommend for the Tilt-N-Go trailer is Blackwood rubber infused lumber. Blackwood adds traction, strength and durability to the floor of your trailer. Blackwood is made to withstand heavy impact and will keep your trailer deck looking new and professional form year to year. Last, but not least, is the clean showroom finish from the Sherwin-Williams Powdura Powder Coating. Load Trail offers an assortment of colors to choose from. Is what you are carrying important to you or someone else? If it is, then you want to make sure that it has the right trailer underneath it. Just like everything else in the market place, when it comes to trailers, “You get what you pay for.”
Some people think that a trailer is just a trailer. That is just not true. The quality of trailers vary across different planes. If you do your own side by side comparison, you can see the differences.
You can purchase a cheaper trailer but beware. You will have to replace it over and over when it keeps wearing, or you can invest a little bit more in a durable trailer that is stronger and lasts longer. Not having to replace a trailer will keep you on the road and keep money in your pocket in the long run.
When choosing a trailer to best fit the jobs that you do, there are several details that you must consider. First is the style of trailer. Second, consider the axles on the trailer. Lastly, consider the options and details that will be beneficial to the specific jobs that you will use the trailer for. These option will help turn a stressful task into a bearable one and a tedious undertaking into snappy project.
There are an array of different styles of trailers to choose from. Here at Load Trail we carry a multitude of trailer styles like dumps, car haulers, goosenecks, hydraulic dove tails, utility, and tilt deck trailers. (Load Trail Trailer Selection). Each trailer come designed with a certain set of traits and features specific to certain kinds of needs and jobs in mind. Many can be outfitted for dual purposes and uses.
Once you have figured out which style of trailer best fits your needs you can then figure out the size and capacity you will need. Picture your normal cargo. Determine the average weight that you will need to transport. This will help to determine the best axle size for your trailer. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is a very important detail when choosing your trailer. GVWR is typically that sum of the axle ratings; however, there are some exceptions depending on the build of the trailer and possibly the braking capabilities. This is important because GVWR minus the base trailer weight will give you the cargo capacity of your trailer. Now consider the the dimensions of your average cargo.
Finally, consider the many different trailer options. At Load Trail, many of the options that you would have to pay for at other trailer dealers will come as a standard option. Which options will work best with your trailer to take care of your needs. Do you need side extensions for your dump or a tarp system? ( Already comes standard on Load Trail Dumps!!!). Maybe you need adjustable ratchet straps to help tie down the various shaped loads that you transport as a hotshot. Perhaps you need ramps to load up your front end loader. Take a look at the many other options that can make your job quicker and easier.
If you have any further questions about trailers and optional features, please visit loadtrail.com or visit your local Load Trail dealer. They will be happy to help you find a trailer that fits you. Till next time. Keep Haulin!!!
Welcome to Load Trail!!! Nice to meet you. If I’m going to tell you about our company here in 2017, let me tell you about where our company came from. Load Trail started out as a small family owned business in 1996 in Sumner, Texas, a small town in Northeast Texas. It has grown from a small shop and a few acres with 31 employees into a nearly 420,000 square foot facility that sits on just under 100 acres with over 500 employees! Since its inception, Load Trail has grown to include state of the art mechanized production lines and a fully equipped in-house fabrication shop. We also have a fully staffed parts department that provides outstanding customer service. Load Trail started out producing enclosed trailers, transport trailer, and sport trailers. Later, we discontinued enclosed trailers to focus exclusively on open trailers. Today, Load Trail manufactures additional trailer models including goosenecks, car haulers, single axles, dumps, utilities, landscapes, pintle hooks, hydraulic doves and more.
